Fare increases for end of September

The bad news for tourists is the 5 day pass is replaced with a 15 day pass. The good news for seniors is that the huge rate increase projected was scaled down to a flat 50% so we can still get a good deal on the 15 or 30 day passes. Whether they are all access for tourists will be another pulling of RTC teeth to answer because even when that is the rule, the RTC hates to admit it to anyone and will never advertise that deal. Promised also are more buses along my favorite route, the 202, with a new schedule coming into effect, along with the other changes, on September 30. http://www.mynews3.com/content/news/story/RTC-raises-fares-and-service-charges/sv0SElB0R0SqPwZmojOEcw.cspx

Sorry about the verification. I dropped it, but I'm getting spammed daily so had to put it back. If you choose the anonymous option when you post, please include some hint of who you are in the text.
I like reading comments, but if you are coming from a link on a Vegas discussion board, you might better comment on that board (except for the LVA board which does not notify me of new posts.)

This blog is meant as a resource for discussion boards and not as competition. Also, the discussions will be richer on the discussion board than here.
